About the role

As the Content Marketing Manager, you'll lead Scrut's content marketing initiatives, crucial for boosting our brand visibility and fueling business expansion. This role requires someone with both creative and strategic skills, capable of moving effortlessly between big-picture planning and practical implementation. You'll focus on captivating our audience of safety and operational leaders in the industrial sector.

  • Develop and implement a thorough content marketing plan aimed at enhancing brand recognition, establishing a reputation for excellence, and encouraging product interest, all of which will drive the company's rapid expansion.

  • Produce compelling content across the entire customer journey, spanning from informative to enjoyable, with the goal of attracting potential customers and seamlessly leading them through the marketing funnel to connect with our skilled sales team.

  • Take charge of designing and executing monthly brand-to-demand campaigns, integrating thought leadership content to drive pipeline growth and cultivate prospects into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).

  • Create compelling messaging and copy for a variety of engaging content formats, such as blog posts, case studies, website copy, guides, emails, video scripts, and advertisements, ensuring each piece resonates effectively with the target audience.

  • Gain a profound understanding of our target audience's needs, desires, and pain points to develop tailored content that deeply resonates and motivates action. Collaborate closely with internal leadership to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives and audience insights.

  • Oversee Scrut's owned content channels, managing the content calendar and ensuring a steady flow of high-quality content across our blog, social media, and email marketing platforms.

  • Coordinate both in-house and external technical writing teams or agencies.


  • 4+ years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS environments.

  • Demonstrated capability in implementing creative content campaigns across diverse formats.

  • A portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of content types crafted to enhance business objectives.

  • Familiarity with SEO tools, best practices, and effective strategies to increase organic traffic.

  • Outstanding storytelling skills coupled with a strong design sensibility to captivate and engage audiences effectively.

  • Strong organisational skills, adept at prioritising and managing multiple projects simultaneously. A natural collaborator and clear communicator who excels in elite team environments.

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media tools.

  • A collaborative team player capable of thriving in dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced environments.
