Job Brief:

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for the strategy and development of new or enhanced Scrut platform features and tools. The primary responsibility of the APM is to enable the development and maintenance of a product portfolio to optimally meet the collective needs of all stakeholders.


The APM will have direct and frequent contact with all key stakeholders and department leads to ensure that current plans, timelines, expectations, and business needs are clearly communicated.


Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy by harnessing the collective knowledge of all stakeholders (engineers, CEO, clients) and develop detailed requirements and features that are cost effective.

  • Scope out specific prospect/customer feedback and analyze usage data/patterns to validate business requirements and detail user stories.

  • Support engineering resources in creating effective wireframes and technical specifications that will deliver on business requirements.

  • Identify and fill product gaps, lead brainstorming of new ideas to grow market share.

  • Champion for the customer and the product and execute product strategy and own the product roadmap.

  • Effectively define market needs and map to product features within JIRA.

  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.

  • Influence prioritization of the strategic product roadmap based on business needs and customer benefits.

  • Engage in discovery, business analysis, and requirements gathering, serving as a central hub of information for assigned products or projects.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technical field, or related equivalent experience.

  • 1-2 years of experience with e-commerce or fintech or IT vertical preferred

  • Experience with Mathematical modeling and Data Science.

  • Experience in common product/project management tools such as Jira/Tello is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong business acumen

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Proven ability to be a problem solver and/or facilitate problem solving.
