Job Role: Marketing Database Lead 


About the Job,

Your primary responsibility will be to manage, maintain, grow, and regularly update our contact database. You will use the collected data to conduct market and customer segmentation and run data analysis to optimize various campaigns and initiatives that are driven by the Marketing and Sales teams. The ideal candidate for this position is analytical, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about digital marketing best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Own, review, and audit the marketing database and ensure accuracy as well as a smooth transition of data from various platforms

  • Consistently improve the quality of data through the removal of irrelevant data and appending new good quality data to existing contacts

  • Identify and manage new data channels that ensure our demand generation and sales teams have the highest quality and fastest intelligence in the industry

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the quality of data, and efficiency of various campaigns, and create analyses and reports for the leadership

  • Lead the marketing database function and manage a team of junior lead development specialists.

  • Manage delegation of database requests, bring about automation in processes 


Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Database Marketing or an associated field

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer science, Database Management, or a similar field

  • Extensive experience of database management activities such as mining, enriching, scraping, etc.

  • Knowledge of database tools such as zoominfo, lusha, zerobounce, etc. 

  • Good to have proficiency with analytical tools and CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot)

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
